Ruta de las Flores

After an hour delay because the Pan-American highway was closed for repaving, followed by an hour and a half stuck at Guatemalan customs, I finally arrived in San Salvador and spent the rest of the weekend along the Ruta de las Flores, a series of cute, small towns in southwestern El Salvador.  Juayua was the first stop.  There's a Saturday food market there and some waterfalls a tuk tuk ride away.

Concepcion de Ataco: known for it's colorful murals
