Panama: Bocas del Toro

I spent the majority of my time in Panama in the area known as Bocas del Toro in the northeastern corner of Panama, just south of Costa Rica.  The area is made of a series of islands.  I spent the first few nights on Isla Bastimentos in a tent lodge and then moved onto Isla Colon.

The visibility wasn't nearly as good as in Curacao, but got to see seahorses and a ferry wreck.

Panama City: Casco Viejo and the Canal

I didn't have much time to spend in Panama City, but was able to see the old part of the city, Casco Viejo and make the obligatory trip to the Panama Canal.

Curacao: Scuba, Flamingos and Beaches

I got to do 3 dives while I was in Curacao.  Unfortunately I could only bring my camera on the last dive since the others went well below the depth limits for it.  The last site was a tugboat shipwreck below a pier.

The next day I rented a car and visited a couple different beaches around the island, including salt flats with flamingos, the rocky, rough beaches of the east coast, and the white sand beaches of the west coast.
